On Friday April 25th 2008, the minister of transportation , Dr. Richard Anane visited Metro Mass Transit Ltd. Offices in accra. His visit was to find out the problems facing the company and the way forward. After a closed door meeting held with Mr. Henk Visschers, (the MD of mmt), Mr. Martin Afram, (the deputy managing director of mmt), Mr. Daniel Gyimah, (Board Chairman of mmt), Mr. Alex Twumasi Boakye, (Chief Director of Ministry of Transport), Mr. Ken Anku (Media Consultant at Ministry of Transport), Mr. Peter Ofori Asumadu (the Director for Policy & Planning) and Mr. Ad Heuvel, (the technical manager of mmt) the Minister took a tour of the yard and answered questions from the media.
