Yaxing buses have been purchased and manufactured in China and are supported by the Ghana government by means of the HIPC foundation. The single- and double deckers are typical intra-city buses and thus operate within many Ghanaian cities. In 2006 another 150 Yaxing buses are expected to arrive in the port at Tema.
